Welcome to Tibbs
Just five minutes from historic Rye, our family-run farm overlooks the stunning Tillingham Valley and offers an immersive working farm and country escape. With views of traditional hop gardens, we’re proud of our family’s 300-year-old hop growing heritage now numbering one of as few as 40 growers in the country today.
Perched overlooking the farm our café makes, bakes and showcases good food with many ingredients sourced directly on the farm be it from our Romney sheep flock, Sussex cattle herd, traditional pig breeds or our seasonal fruit and vegetable bounties.
There’s always plenty going on at Tibbs through the year. Explore our website for more.

Winter Walks
Our walking trails are open (closing end of February). We have three circular trails around the farm all starting and ending here at the café.
Our circular farm trails take you from one valley to another—Tillingham into the Brede—through ancient woodland, along the river, following historic routeways with far reaching views through the Brede Valley.
Parking and walking is entirely free although we do encourage use of the café. Four legged friends are welcome, but please keep on a lead and pick up after them.
